How the battles work in Pixelmon

When encountering wild Pokémon, players have the option to initiate a battle and attempt to capture them using Poké Balls. This turn-based system allows each Pokémon to take turns using their moves and abilities. Each Pokémon has a set of moves, each with its type and power level. Understanding type advantages, such as Water being effective against Fire, is crucial for strategic play.

In addition to offensive and defensive moves, battles may involve status conditions like paralysis, sleep, or poisoning, adding a layer of complexity. Pokémon gain experience points in battles, leading to leveling up, evolution, and the acquisition of new moves. The health points (HP) of Pokémon play a pivotal role, and battles continue until one Pokémon's HP is reduced to zero.

How to breed in Pixelmon

1. Choose two Pokemon that are compatible for breeding. Compatible pairs typically belong to the same egg group.
   
2. If one of the Pokemon is genderless or doesn't have a matching gender, Ditto can be used as a universal breeding partner.
   
3. To pass down specific natures from the parent Pokemon, equip an Everstone to the parent that has the desired nature.
   
4. Construct a Ranch Block and place the chosen Pokemon in it.
   
5. Over time, the Pokemon in the Ranch Block will produce eggs. Collect the eggs that appear around the block.
   
6. Place the eggs in your party and walk around. The eggs will hatch, revealing the baby Pokemon.
