With the Simple Health bar addon, every change in the mob's health pool will be visible. No matter whether hostile or peaceful, every mob will be assigned a health bar above his head. With such an indicator, they cannot sneak around you being unnoticed. Now you will know exactly how many hits it is left to beat a mob. It's a simple mod, but it's his strength, and it works nicely on servers too.
