About animals:

Black bears and Grizzly bears can be tamed (only cubs) with Honeycomb and salmon. Can be ridden when saddled. Can carry items.
Monkeys can be tamed with apples and carrots.
Crocodiles can be tamed and ridden with a saddle on. Tame with any raw meat.
Panthers, Tigers, and Jaguars can be tamed with any type of raw meat. You can saddle and ride them.
