Bring the unsettling atmosphere of the Backrooms to Minecraft with the Simple Backrooms add-on. There are several ways to enter this dimension, as detailed below. Once inside, survival is a constant struggle against hunger and hostile entities.

The Backrooms are divided into distinct levels, each with unique challenges and escape methods. Level 0, accessible from the Overworld, requires finding hidden exit doors. Level 1, reached from the Nether, also features exit doors but presents increased dangers. The End is Near, accessed from the End dimension, offers the greatest challenge. Here, you must find a red VHS tape among shelves of tapes and insert it into a computer to escape. However, any loud noises could prove fatal.


Accessing the Backrooms: Entry can be triggered by specific actions such as suffocating, flying into a wall, or being hit by an anvil.


Key Items and Entities: You'll find Almond Water, essential for managing hunger. A rare music disc called "Burning" plays The Caretaker's haunting track "It's Just a Burning Memory," enhancing the eerie ambiance. Various entities inhabit the Backrooms, including Bacteria, Faclings, and the rare Smiler, each posing unique threats. Some entities, like the Partygoer, drop special items such as the "Turtle Crusher" music disc.
