Even when you don’t see him, Herobrine is lurking. He stalks you, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. From the moment you start your world, the monster is already there, but it will take some time before it attacks.
Alternatively, you can summon him directly by building a totem (the building pattern is on the screenshots). The world will reflect Herobrine’s presence through an ominous surrounding mist.
