This Doctor Who addon for Minecraft PE is a must-play for longtime fans and a great excuse to revisit the universe—especially with a new season just around the corner.

Prepare to defend the blocky world from some of the Doctor’s most notorious enemies. The Daleks and Cybermen have landed in Minecraft, and it’s up to you to stop them before they turn your world into a galactic war zone. Thankfully, you’re not going in empty-handed. You’ll get your very own TARDIS (sadly not time-travel capable, but it makes a sweet base) and a sonic screwdriver.

Now, full honesty here—I never fully figured out what the sonic screwdriver actually does in the show. It's definitely not a weapon, though. It just makes a weird sound and somehow solves everything. In this addon, it sticks to that theme: it makes a noise. A very Doctor-ish noise.




Daleks – These walking tanks may look like upside-down trash cans, but don’t underestimate them. Their blasters are always charged, and their catchphrase is still “Exterminate!” for a reason.


Cybermen – Personally, I think these guys are even scarier. Unlike Daleks, you can’t just tip them over like a vending machine. They’ve got arms—and they know how to use them. Punch one, and it’ll definitely punch back.
