This add-on enhances the realism of lighting in Minecraft by making handheld light sources illuminate the surrounding area. In vanilla Minecraft, torches only provide light when placed. This add-on changes that, so holding a torch or other light-emitting item will provide a dimmer, but still useful, light source for navigating dark areas.
