Dynamic Lights addon

The Dynamic Lights add-on adds dynamic lighting to Minecraft PE, allowing held items and certain mobs to emit light. Previously, light sources needed to be placed to illuminate an area. Now, holding a torch will light your way through dark caves, conserving valuable resources. Even dropped torches will emit light.

What new items will be glowing:

• Fire Charge
  
• Glow Ink Sac
  
• Sea Pickle
  
• Glow item frame
  
• Crying Obsidian
  
• Magma Block
  

As illustrated in the screenshots, the lighting is significantly improved with the add-on. Items like torches and lava buckets can be conveniently equipped in the off-hand slot.



Dropped items also emit light, though the brightness may vary.


Certain naturally luminous mobs, such as magma cubes, charged creepers, and blazes, will now glow at night.


The latest update introduces two new items: the off-hand torch and the miner's helmet.
