Change the way you manage the inventory in Minecraft with the Mouse Tweaks mod. Drag and drop is tedious and a very slow way to approach the inventory. With adjustments made by the mod though, you can quickly move, combine, and divide blocks with simple gestures. It will require you only a few minutes to learn but it will go a long way in you saving time, which can be crucial in some scenarios.

The list of gestures:

RMB Tweak - when dragging an item holding RMB over the same slot multiple items now cause the item to be placed there multiple times.
Drag your mouse holding RMB around the slots to put a block in each slot. Also works if the same block is already in that slot.
Hold LMB and drag over the slots to pick up every block of the same type.
Hold Shift + LMB and drag to shift-click all the items.
Hold Shist + LMB and drag without the item to move the items into another inventory.
Use the Scroll wheel down hovering over the items to move them into the other inventory one at a time.
Scroll the wheel up to move through the items.
