Realistic Survival addon

Increase the challenge of survival with the Realistic Survival add-on, which introduces two new vital needs: thirst and temperature. Neglecting hydration in Minecraft PE will now have fatal consequences; dehydration leads to death. Water must be purified before drinking, as simply drinking from any source is no longer safe. Exposure to extreme temperatures also poses a threat: prolonged time in the sun can cause heatstroke, while venturing into cold biomes without proper attire can lead to freezing.

First, you'll need a way to carry water. The add-on provides the Canteen. Fill it at any water source, but remember the water is not yet safe to drink.


Next, purify the water by placing filled Canteens over a campfire. After a short time, the water will boil, yielding purified water.


However, be mindful of your water intake, as overhydration is also possible.


Finally, the add-on includes a pack of matches for convenient fire starting.
