Ex Nihilo for Minecraft PE introduces a new, tree-based crafting system. Starting with basic woodcutting, you'll progress through new uses for leaves, wood, and dirt. This add-on is inspired by the popular Java Edition mod of the same name.

First, craft a Crook (recipes below) to collect items like Apples and Silkworms from leaves.
Place a Silkworm on a tree to infest it. Once the leaves turn white, use a Crook to harvest string.
Unlike standard barrels, these are used to create dirt by filling them with Leaves, Silkworms, or Crops.
These tools crush materials: Cobblestone becomes Gravel, Gravel becomes Sand, and Sand becomes Dust.
Combine a Sieve with a Mesh, then place Gravel, Sand, Dirt, or Dust on the mesh and interact with it to sift for valuable resources.
Similar to Barrels, the Oak Crucible produces water instead of dirt.
Used to create Lava from Cobblestone. Place the Crucible above a heat source (torch, lava, or fire) and fill it with Cobblestone.
