By minimizing lag caused by XP orbs, the Clumps mod can help maintain stable frame rates, especially in situations where you might generate a lot of XP at once. Large amounts of XP orbs, especially after defeating a powerful enemy or mining a large vein of ore, can cause lag spikes in Minecraft. Clumps tackles this issue by grouping all nearby XP orbs into a single entity. This significantly reduces the number of entities the game needs to track and render, leading to a smoother gameplay experience.

With Clumps, you no longer need to chase after individual XP orbs to collect them. As you walk near the clumped orb, it will automatically be absorbed, granting you the experience. This saves time and makes the process of collecting XP more streamlined. Especially in situations with a large number of XP orbs, the visual clutter can be distracting. Clumps eliminates this issue by merging them into a single entity, improving overall visual clarity.
